Finnish short film based on the Czech cult comics Octobriana, created by Petr Sadecký in the 1960s. Starring Noora Piili, Antti Reini and Kari Ylijoki. Directed by Jyrki Pitkä and Risto Tuominen. Dialogue in English, with Finnish subtitles.
“Octobriana and her brother in arms, Vasil, discover that a notorious terrorist group has stolen the finger of Lenin. The terrorists are planning to create a devastating biological weapon. Octobriana penetrates her opponent’s headquarters and it is revealed that the group is lead by her former lover. She finds out that the weapon, ‘The Red Plaque’, shall eliminate everyone without a genetic tendency towards communism. Suddenly she finds herself in a situation where she has to make a choice between love and world peace.”
